Water main break on Irving Place may disrupt Collegetown water, says Ithaca - The City of Ithaca says upper Collegetown area residents “should expect water outages” due to a water main break on Irving Place this morning.
Some TCAT routes on Snow Detour due to snowy road conditions - Today's winter storm won't drop a huge amount of snow on the Ithaca area, but it's dropping snow fast enough, for a few hours, that road conditions have deteriorated quickly. TCAT says Routes 11, 14, and 51 are on Snow Detour as a result.

North Tioga Street closed this Thursday and Friday for water valve replacement - The City of Ithaca says the 400 block of North Tioga Street will be closed in Downtown Ithaca this Thursday and Friday, between Court Street and Farm Street, so crews can replace a water valve “to address a faulty component that was discovered during main repair last week.”
POSTPONED: Route 79 east (Green Street in Ithaca) will be closed Wednesday night - Update: The City of Ithaca tells us the contractor has postponed delivery of a crane, and the closure of Green Street, “due to weather constraints.” A new date hasn't yet been set.
Forest Home Drive closed Thursday for tree trimming - NYSEG bucket truck crews will be on Forest Home Drive in the Town of Ithaca trimming back trees from power lines. The road will be closed to through traffic between Route 366 and Caldwell Road near Flatrock and the Cornell Botanic Gardens.
