The City of Ithaca says a roadway striping contractor will be continuing to paint crosswalks, stop bars, and traffic symbols “throughout the City” on Saturday, October 21st.
The striping work was scheduled for Thursday and Friday, but wasn’t finished. Saturday’s work, which may slow down Cornell alumni heading to campus for Homecoming weekend, will begin about 7am and end around 5pm.
“Motorists should expect temporary lane closures and traffic delays,” according to city officials. “We appreciate your patience as we work to improve pedestrian and traffic safety.”
