Vulnerable adult alert issued for missing Southern Tier man

The New York State Police in Owego have initiated a Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert for 78-year-old William Caloroso, who disappeared last night from his home in Nichols. The man is driving a dark blue 2010 Chevrolet Impala, with New York plate GDY-8262.

Mr. Caloroso is a while male, with brown hair and brown eyes, 5’10” and about 160 pounds. He has Alzheimer’s Disease, and may be in need of medical attention.

He was last seen at about 8:30pm on Sunday evening, July 10th, on River Road in Nichols, which is about an hour south of Ithaca, west of the Binghamton area. He is believed to have been heading toward the Lounsberry truck stop, and was last seen wearing a flannel shirt and blue pants, and may be wearing a baseball hat that says Sidney.
