The mayor tells us Ithaca police “worked side by side” with the AG’s office, which led the investigation.

“There is no doubt that the lengthy investigation and subsequent arrests will save lives,” Acting Chief of the Ithaca Police Department Pete Tyler tells us. “Certainly this will have a major impact on the supply into the area. Inevitably, when any new dealers take over the IPD stands ready to protect our citizens.”

“It was a great example of local law enforcement working together to combat this drug trade which has infected our community,” says Chief Tyler. “Today I am very proud of the outstanding efforts of all involved in this operation.”
