A Cornell University alum who helped get “South Park” off the ground and produced “The Book of Mormon” Kevin Morris is speaking at Cornell this Wednesday and reading from his new novel.
Cornell says Kevin is the founding partner of entertainment law firm Morris Yorn Barnes Levine Krintzman Rubenstein Kohner & Gellman in Century City, California, and he specializes in representing prominent actors, writers, and directors in the motion picture and television industries. He also advises and consults for a number of companies focused on distribution of entertainment content over emerging digital platforms.
His 2014 book “White Man’s Problems” explored the grey areas of modern life and took an unforgettable tour of the male psyche. Now, his novel “All Joe Knight” focuses on one character’s rough-and-tough beginnings and his scramble to achieve the American dream.
Morris is speaking and reading from his book this Wednesday at 7:15pm at the Hans Bethe House common room, free and open to the public, and signing books at the Cornell Store on Thursday morning from 10-11.
