A 21-year-old from the Town of Owego has been missing since yesterday afternoon, according to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, and is without seizure medication he needs to take each morning and night. Owego is about 30 miles south of Ithaca, between Elmira and Binghamton in New York’s Southern Tier.

Original story: Billy James Zavatto-Bado is 5’9″ and 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen at his residence at 5:30pm Wednesday wearing a light blue winter coat, black pants, beige colored boots, camouflaged gloves, and a black knit cap.

According to Billy’s mother, Mary Zavatto-Bado, he was at the road fixing “private property” signs, and his footprints end at their property line. “It is life threatening for him to be without his seizure medicine,” she said in a Facebook post.

The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office asks that anyone with information pertaining to the young man’s whereabouts call them at 607-687-1010.
