If you’re like most of us, you’ve got a few empty cardboard boxes from the last couple of weeks. Pack them full of clothes and accessories you don’t need and send them to Goodwill — for free!
Amazon.com and Goodwill have teamed up for the Give Back Box program, which lets you print a shipping label so you can send a box of “clothing, accessories and household goods you no longer need” without having to pay the shipping charges yourself.
The Give Back Box web site lets you enter your ZIP Code and it generates a shipping label that’ll take your stuff to the nearest Goodwill center. (For us, it’s in Pennsylvania.)
It doesn’t even have to be an Amazon box. Any cardboard box that’s in decent shape is just fine, according to the Give Back Box FAQ.
No electronics, liquids, fragile, or other volatile items, please.
